Meeting

Wendy and I met with Barry at his place in the recent school holidays. It was great to see him surrounded by beautiful wooden walls, photos of his adventures in the countryside and hunting trophies. We talked out way through the class list, pooling our knowledge of where everyone is now. Next step is to contact Cobham about getting enrolment information - I am posting a letter to the principal today. Wendy and I are both studying, so have limited free time - if anyone else wants to help with the organisation, you would be very welcome!

Planned Reunion

I met up with Wendy a few weeks back when she was in Christchurch visiting her parents. We decided to plan for a reunion at Labour Weekend of 2006 - this should give us time to find people! So far we have contact details for Jeff Reed, Jane Weir, Alison Saville, Ruth Hepburn and Barry Smith himself.

We also have leads on some people, and a photo from Form One which formed the basis of our list. If you can help us find anyone please email details to me at kafahy@paradise.net.nz

Setting the scene

Having coffee with Jane Weir last year, we talked about having a class reunion.
I joined www.oldfriends.co.nz and have been delighted to hear from Fendalton, Cobham and Burnside classmates.
I would like to collect contact details for people who were in Room 3 at Cobham in 1969 and 1970.
I am also keen to publish snippets about what people are doing now on this site, with permission.
If you would like to be involved, please email me at kafahy@paradise.net.nz
- I look forward to hearing from you!
